People have collected the sacred waters, prayed and left offerings here for thousands upon thousands of years - in fact, it is thought that the springs may even have been a factor in the placing of Avebury stone circle which lies nearby. The spring flows for a short space of time each year around Imbolc and Eostre and the water is strongly associated with fertility and Mother Earth. This natural spring water is perfect for all types of magickal uses from cleansing your crystals and ritual tools to circle casting, fertility rituals or any spell which calls for water.
