Yew wands

The Yew represents direct contact with our past, and the old wisdom which we find deep within ourselves. It also speaks to us of fresh growth arising out of death, perhaps of our old selves, or old ways of thinking. It is a wonderful wood and can be used for contact with ancestors.

Gnarled Yew Rune wand

This beautifully grained wand has been crafted from a gnarled root gathered from a fallen ancient Yew tree. It is carved with the Elder Futhark runes. The colouring of this wand is varied and ranges from warm black-browns through to deep oranges.

Gnarled Yew Root wands

These unusual gnarled wands are really something out of the ordinary as each one is crafted from a Yew root gathered from a tree naturally brought down by recent strong winds. The colours are beautiful and range from near black through to oranges, reds and cream. In history, it is said that village elders were buried beneath Yew trees in the belief that the tree held their knowledge for their descendants.
